Direct answer

Open Customers, choose 3 - Sales of Receivables, and use 1 - Select & Review Customers to be Sold. Frazer can filter accounts by criteria such as balance, sale-date range, location code, and customer rating, and it also allows individual selection. Review the pool before any upload or completed sale is processed.

Select and review the proposed account pool

  1. Open Customers.
  2. Choose 3 - Sales of Receivables.
  3. Open 1 - Select & Review Customers to be Sold.
  4. Apply the appropriate filters or add accounts individually.
  5. Review the selected pool. Compare account count and balance with the file you intend to send for valuation.

Use Frazer's filters carefully

Frazer documents selection by contract balance, sale-date range, location codes, and customer rating. Combining filters can quickly narrow a pool, but every resulting account should still be reviewed before it is shared or processed.

Write down the filters and the date used. If the valuation takes time, payments, payoffs, repossessions, and status changes can alter the pool before closing.

Limit a supported finance-company upload to selected accounts

Frazer's C-8 Upload to Finance Company screen can send active BHPH account information to supported companies. Frazer warns that an activated upload can include all BHPH customers unless the option to include only customers already selected in the Sale of Receivables program is used.

Check the scope before transmitting. If you intend to send only a proposed pool, confirm that the selected-customer option is enabled and that the account count matches your review list.

Reconcile the final funded pool

  • Refresh balances and statuses close to the buyer's requested cutoff.
  • Remove payoffs, excluded accounts, and any accounts that no longer meet the agreed criteria.
  • Document substitutions instead of silently replacing accounts.
  • Match the final account count and balance to the closing schedule.
  • Save the selection and final reports with the transaction file.

Selecting accounts is not the same as selling them

The selection screen helps create and review a proposed pool. Do not process a Sale of Receivables merely because accounts were selected or sent to a buyer. Process the sale only after the transaction terms and final account schedule are complete.

Frequently asked questions

Can Frazer select one account for sale?

Yes. Frazer supports individual account selection as well as grouped selection.

Can I select accounts by balance or sale date?

Yes. Frazer documents filters including contract balance, sale-date range, location code, and customer rating.

Does selecting accounts remove them from active servicing?

Selection prepares a proposed pool. Processing the completed Sale of Receivables is a separate step that should occur only after closing.
